The objective is to orient medical students with the knowledge, skill, and expertise in the field of Anaesthesia, analgesia intensive care medicine, and palliative care and to provide anesthesia service to the operation theatre.
The Department is to be a recognized authority in the evaluation and treatment of patients requiring perioperative medical care, including General Anesthesia, Trauma Anesthesia, Obstetric Anesthesia, Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, Pediatric Anesthesia, Regional anesthesia, Neuroanesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Management.
